It was at this point that the accused became aggressive and threw the hammer at him, but luckily he missed. ![]() The victim had asked the accused to use a vacuum cleaner in order not to dirty the place too much but the accused claimed it was broken. ![]() It results that the accused came down with a hammer and threw it at the elderly man after he asked him not to make the place dusty. ![]() In Court, presided over by Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit, Inspector Jessica Bezzina explained that the case happened on 30 September 2020 in Triq Belvedere. Mohamad Tlas was fined €100 after on Monday he was found guilty that three years ago he threatened a man, aged 73, with a hammer in Gzira while he was carrying out construction works. ![]()
